Help...I have a question
Do I need to be an experience photographer to attend?
Not at all. Photocamp is designed for beginners and intermediate photographers. If you understand the basics of your camera and have a desire to learn, you will fit right in.

What type of camera should I bring?
A DSLR or mirrorless camera with interchangeable lenses is ideal. Let us know what you have and we'll make a plan.

What if I change my mind I need to cancel?
Deposit is required to reserve your place at Photocamp at the hollow. Because space is extremely limited and preparations begin well in advance, deposits are nonrefundable. If you do need to cancel we will do our best to transfer your deposit to a future Photocamp where space is available.

Will there be personal instruction?
Yes, Photocamp is in intentionally kept small so every student receives personal guidance, feedback, and hands-on help throughout the workshop.

Are meals and snacks included?
Yes, breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner, and beverages are part of the photo camp experience.

What if I come alone?
Many students attend on their own. The small group setting makes it easy to connect with others, and most students live with new friendships.

How many students attend each camp?
We keep the group intentionally small (typically 6-8 students) so everyone receives personal attention and plenty of shooting opportunities.

"I'm I nervous that I am not good enough yet."
Many people feel this way before attending, you're not alone. Photo camp is designed to be supportive and encouraging, not intimidating and students arrive with a wide range of experience. We'll guide you step-by-step and meet you right where you are helping you build confidence and skills along the way. The most important thing you need to bring is simply a willingness to learn.
