There is nothing like the building excitement as graduation day approaches. And for Haley, Madeline, Stephanie and Adriana this was no exception!! We all piled into my car and headed off deep into the country, searching for wide open fields, old brick buildings, abandoned trains and stopped every where that caught my eye! Why??? Because we could and because we had a trunk bursting with the cutest clothes and accessories, we had to find reasons to wear it all!! I honestly can not remember a time that I have had so much fun shooting… There was so much energy flying around in my car as we laughed our selves sick talking about love and life, while we tapped to the beats of some of the best country music ever!!!

Last week three planes took off from the West Coast and found their way to crazy but beautiful New York City. Michael, Deanna, Corey and Cody began an adventure that left us all very inspired on so many levels. We all got off our planes with basically no agenda. We went all over the city doing everything you could imagine from stuffing our faces with New York’s finest pizza, bagels and pastrami sandwiches. We walked through the coolest museums, went to see a show and sat around with street musicians tapping out the beat and we did all this because we could!

Have you heard of the squirrel man? Well, he sits on a bench by the shores of the Statue of Liberty, with his tote bag filled with nuts. The squirrels come from everywhere and climb over you, hoping to be fed. How weird is this????? Later that day while window shopping, I found a store that sold squirrel underwear!!! What the heck is up with that??

You cannot go to New York without taking a slow down minute or tow at ground zero. Remember that crazy day almost 9 years ago? The memorial site will send chills through you as the picture is painted very clear of what it was and still is today.

There is something so sweet and innocent about young love… It is just the beginning of several relationships that will come and go in our lives. Kyla, my sweet little girl, has had a crush on “Landon” since the two of them met, and so it hit me… why wait to document this love??? Because you just don’t know if he possibly could be the one!! Once we convinced her that marrying her Daddy was not an option
So right there and then I started creating the perfect afternoon with these two in my head. We shopped for cute outfits including hats, ties and strands of pearls to top it all off and then let the adventure begin. We frolicked around the streets of downtown Campbell, checking out cool books at the local book store, stuffing our faces with rice crispy treats, looking for bugs, and ended our day at good old Baskin Robbins for scoops of ice cream with all the goodies! Yes, there probably will be others for this little princess, but for today…. It’s all about Landon

WOW!! What a fun and cute couple!! These two had so much excitement and love for each other. You could not help but feel it cover you when you are around them. We had such a great session. I am so very excited to be apart of their big day!

High above in the gorgeous Saratoga hills, you can find a nice little place called Paul Masson. The vineyard plays in as a gorgeous backdrop to a beautiful day. Thanks to Brett and Ashley for letting me capture this awesome day of theirs. You guys are amazing!

These two cutie pies found each other at the YMCA! They walked side by side 8-12 hours a day and as if that was not enough they pushed through many all nighters getting to know each other. Their sweet summer relationship quickly turned serious and was inevitable that they would be in each other’s lives for quite some time. We jump ahead to an innocent trip to Kauai with family. Shortly after arriving it was time to find their alone time. Do we blame them?

Dukes restaurant now becomes the place to be and Marissa knows something is up. He walked her out to the beach after dinner, and with the music playing from a nearby luau under the stars, he got down on one knee, and pulled out her beautiful ring out of his sock. He told her she had changed his entire life, and there is nothing more that he wanted than to spend the rest of his life making her happy!! How perfect is that?!?
I have been photographing the McGee’s for years now. I had the pleasure of doing their wedding, which soon followed with a baby carriage and in crawls beautiful baby Lillian. The happiest, full of personality cutie!! I just wanted to squeeze her but resisted.
A few months ago I recieved the call that Lilly’s mom has another bun in the oven. We went to the beach to celebrate!! Lillian once again stole the show… I am so enjoying watching and capturing this beautiful family grow! 1 + 1 = 4 or will there be 5?

These two found themselves walking the same halls of Irvington High School, but it was the pools of waterpolo that brought them face to face. Their story begins there and as love has a way of grabbing hold, they grew closer still. Love followed them out of high school and eventually on a trail high above it all in beautiful Lake Tahoe!! “Will you Shelby…” And the rest is history yet to be written.

A “day in the life” photo session at the Inman’s. When I arrived at their home, the kids all went running to their rooms to show me all their toys and dress up costumes. We spent the next couple hours laughing at each other, painting on the easle, wrestling with the stuffed animals, licking our lips from the sweet peaches and of course I thoroughly enjoyed capturing every moment of this.

Come by our new studio in Campbell and see the beautiful collage, canvas wrapped of their moment in time.
You know you are no longer in Kansas when you open the door of the big silver bullet. This place was unbelievable; beauty at every corner! Not to mention the 10 inch french croissants and nutella creme brulee.

Please Michael can we go again soon?
